作為一位結他收藏家，Vic DaPra不僅是一位以收藏Vintage Gibson Les Paul 結他為主的收藏家，他憑自己多年對結他的經驗和知識，加上他在不少朋友的幫助下，出版了介紹1958-1969年出產的Gibson Les Paul 結他的{Burst Believers } ，整套書共分六冊，每次推出都受到市場相當大的關注，使他成為了結他市場上的一個權威。

Gibson Custom Shop 部門與Vic DaPra 攜手合作推出的這批限量版 2011 Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Standard 是以Vic 其中一支他最喜歡的原年‘59 Les Paul 結他作為藍本，並交由Custom Shop 部門將結他所有詳細數據，例如整體重量、琴頸粗度、琴面弧度等輸入電腦記錄，而在電子部份，特別設計的雙線圈拾音器將原年PAF 的聲音動態精選的復刻，音色非常豐富、清晰和動感，非常適合演奏任何風格的音樂。接下來再由Vic 到Custom Shop 廠房內根據他那支原年結他上的貼面楓木紋路，結他重量為原則挑選木材，並將生產數量僅限在25支。從由非Gibson 官方人員為結他挑選材料再到出產量如此稀少，及在琴頭上手寫上是25支限量中的那一支編號，都有別於過往Gibson 公司的做法，比以往擁有更高的出品質素外，更使這支限量版並其他的擁有更高的收藏價值！

我們在售的這支據聞是Vic DaPra 本人在25支中特別挑選出來自已收藏的，後來才輾轉間到我們手上，所以在貼面、重量等各方面應該是整批限量版中最接近原年的一支。限量生產的結他往往比常規生產的結他更具有收藏價值，因為的生產數量更少，因此在市場上更為稀有和難得，而這支更是原物主釋出的就更為罕見，極具收藏價值！！

This is as rare of Les Paul as it gets. Only 25 pcs release for worldwide, all the stunning flame maple top are hand selected by Vic DaPra, the beautiful caramel burst colors and the top wood grain are also based on his own collection the original 1959 Les Paul !!
